Biology of Birds

This course introduced University of Alberta students to bird biology, including morphology, physiology, evolution, species diversity, and behaviour. Labs had a hands-on approach focused on teaching about techniques and concepts in avian research. The lab also focused on bird diversity in Alberta with the aim of teaching students the practical skills of visual and vocal identification of bird species.
