This event during the last weekend in May 2023 focuses on helping us better understand birds and plants in Alberta. To learn more about the event, check out the event information on the Nature Alberta website.
Congratulations to our undergraduate researcher Cora!
Cora is an undergraduate researcher who started working with Franklin’s ground squirrels this spring. We wish to congratulate her as she was awarded a MacEwan University Undergraduate Student Research Initiative (USRI) Project Grant! This grant is very competitive and we are proud that she had a successful application. Cora is currently helping us design an Alberta squirrel ID guide and will be joining us in the field this summer. We look forward to working with her!
