Northern Ecology

This course examines the boreal and arctic ecosystems, including abiotic influences such as geology and climate and its effect on nutrient cycling, vegetation, invertebrates, vertebrates, and other organisms. We also discuss current human impacts, such as climate change, and its effect on northern ecosystems.
